Approximately 10 years of experience. Originally, I taught HTML free to many people. Over time and with more experience teaching, I began to charge a fee. As I said previously, I am NOT an expert... however I know enough to feel that I'm very qualified to earn money doing something I love, and that is teaching HTML!

Is my money refundable in the event I do not complete my lessons?
I'm sorry but I cannot refund any money after you have paid me if you fail to complete the lessons for any reason. However, if I have a personal emergency that would prevent me from fulfilling my obligation, you will be refunded $7.50 per lesson that was not given to you.
Do I have a choice of where to locate my website?
I"m sorry but no, not at this time. My experience and comfort level is currently through Yahoo Web Hosting, and that is where we will be doing our lessons. However, once you've completed your lessons you are free to relocate your website wherever you wish.
Are there any other or hidden costs involved?
Yes. I have recently learned that Yahoo GeoCities is closing effective October 2009 and are not accepting any new signups for their free pages. You must purchase your own domain which includes a low monthly fee directly between you and Yahoo. Currently this fee is $4.99 per month for the first year, then $9.95 per month thereafter. It can be automatically deducted from a major credit card monthly. You will actually set this up in your first lesson. In addition, once you begin putting graphics on your webpage, you are going to find that many of the graphic artists now charge a registration fee for the use of their graphics or have what is called purchaseware graphics. But there are still many sites which offer free graphics for your use.
What exactly will I learn?
Some of the things I will be teaching you the basics such as fonts and colors and spacing. I will teach you how to put graphics and pictures on your pages, tables, music, drop-down menus, and various 'fun' things such as marquees, trailing cursors, and much more.
How long will this take??
You will work at your own pace. Once you complete a lesson and I've checked it and 'passed' you, you will move on to the next lesson. The amount of time you take is up to you. You can expect anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months but that can vary a lot and really is up to you depending on the time you devote to it.
Anything else I should know?
Yes!! Once I provide a lesson to you, I expect some type of confirmation from you that you have received it. After that I expect some type of work to be done by you within a two-week time period or an explanation of why not. Once a full month goes by with no work or effort done by you on the lesson, I will assume that you are no longer interesting in learning HTML and will cease the lessons with no refund.
If you do not complete your lessons in the timely manner specified above, I will not at a later date send you the lessons I did not work with you on. Likewise, if I have a personal emergency and refund you your purchase price of unsent lessons, those same unsent lessons will not be sent to you.
Also, I will not provide lessons to users with an AOL email address....you must provide me with another such as yahoo or hotmail. This is because the html tags won't show up in aol email. I know, rules are yucky huh! :)
